Built to move.
Made to matter.
Hi, I’m Ikram.
I turn complex problems into effortless iOS experiences. Maps, offline-first systems, and clean Swift — built for the real world.

Different worlds.
Same curiosity.

A small, hands-on look at the problems I love. Pick a destination, add a stop, then take the signal away.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE INTERACTION Thoughtful navigation. Multi-stop journeys. Offline resilience. The same problems I solve in native iOS.
Good ideas.
Real-world impact.
Some serve 150K+ learners. Some work without a signal. All are built to make the complicated feel simple.

iOS ENGINEER INSTINCTS.
I used to build worlds for players to explore. Now I build apps that help people find their way through the real one.
I’m Md Ikram Khan Johan, a Senior iOS Engineer in Dhaka. My first four years in software were spent in Unity. The next chapter brought me to Swift, to 150K+ learners, and to the maps that power everyday journeys.
Today, I lead four developers at TechnoNext, where I architect map-based apps, modernize open-source engines, and make offline experiences feel effortless.
Game development taught me to care about every frame and every megabyte. That hasn’t changed. Neither has my belief that good code should make the next developer’s day a little easier.

Eight years. Two industries. One habit:
shipping things that work.
2025 — NOWCURRENT STOPDRAWING THE MAPTechnoNextSr. Software Engineer · iOS
I architect a map-based iOS app and lead the four developers who build it with me.
- Built routing, location search, and multi-stop navigation on MVVM-C, using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Modernized an open-source map engine with custom services, encrypted offline maps, and a redesigned interface.
- Own planning, code reviews, API collaboration, and App Store submission.
- Contribute to a client-facing Flutter shopping app.
2022 — 2025LEARNING AT SCALE10 Minute SchoolSoftware Engineer · iOS
Shipped and hardened an ed-tech iOS app used by 150K+ learners.
- Built offline downloads with progress, cancellation, deletion, and local persistence.
- Investigated Firebase Crashlytics clusters and helped achieve ~98% crash-free sessions.
- Integrated live meetings, analytics, push notifications, and remote configuration.
2021 — 2022LEADING THE PARTYMidDayDreamsSenior Game Developer
Led three engineers on a multiplayer research game for a Japanese university.
- Translated research goals into gameplay alongside researchers and stakeholders.
- Built REST-connected team formation, state synchronization, and game systems.
2018 — 2020PRESS STARTMidDayDreamsGame Developer
Built and published two commercial Android games averaging 4.5 stars on Google Play.
- Created gameplay, interfaces, animation, and interaction in Unity and C#.
- Optimized rendering and memory for low-end phones.
- Integrated purchases, rewarded ads, analytics, and backend services.

Helping the next generation find their route.A few good
questions.
SwiftUI or UIKit?+
Both. I use UIKit where I need fine control, like heavy map views, and SwiftUI where it helps the team move faster. My current app combines both on an MVVM-C architecture.
Have you led a team?+
Yes. I lead four developers at TechnoNext through planning, feature briefings, reviews, and technical guidance. Previously, I led three engineers on a multiplayer research game.
Can you work beyond iOS?+
Yes. I contribute to a Flutter e-commerce app and spent four years building games in Unity and C#. iOS is my home base, but I’m comfortable crossing over.
Where can I see your code?+
Visit my GitHub ↗ for public work. For business projects, we can talk through the engineering approach and architectural decisions.
